Recipe for AEROPRESS

COFFEE: 15g
WATER: 215g

  1. Heats water to 87ºC;
  2. Put the filter in the filter holder and wet it;
  3. Grind 15g of coffee - medium coarse (like fine beach sand);
  4. Discard the water used to wet the filter and place the filter holder in the body of the AeroPress;
  5. Place a server under the AeroPress body;
  6. Pour the ground coffee into the filter, lightly level the coffee bed with a gentle touch, and pour 215g of water into the body of the AeroPress;
  7. Insert the plunger, trying not to press down so that the water doesn't pass through the coffee;
  8. After 2′, press gently for 45″ so that the water passes through the coffee;
  9. When you hear a "sssssss" at the end of pressing, stop. This end usually brings less interesting flavors to the drink.

PRO TIP: AeroPress is so famous that there are world championships in which any competitor (professional or not) can win if they keep their recipe consistent throughout the various competitions.
