Tasteology was born out of a desire to bring passion and creativity to the world of coffee. Since our founding in 2022, we have worked with national roasters, baristas and coffee enthusiasts to create something unique - a community where everyone is welcome to explore and celebrate coffee in an authentic way.
We are committed to promoting coffee culture, supporting Portuguese roasters and creating platforms for talent and passion to shine through. Every event and project we carry out aims to strengthen the bond between people and coffee.
From carefully curated coffee boxes to festivals and workshops, we organize experiences that celebrate the art and science of coffee. A team passionate about coffee, dedicated to creating experiences that inspire and connect.
Passionate about coffee and creativity, Sofia is a chef and barista with years of experience in organizing events and interactive workshops. She is the creative force behind Tasteology, always ready to transform ideas into memorable experiences that bring people together and celebrate coffee culture.
SCA-certified trainer, award-winning barista and coffee geek, Hugo is a reference in the coffee world in Portugal. Founder of abcoffee school, has already shone as head barista at Chá das Cinco and BOP Café. On the competition stage, he won 2nd place in the 2022 National Barista Championship and 3rd place in 2019.
In addition to all this, he is also a videographer for the Lance Hedrickjust to be more credible.
