Recipe for French press

COFFEE 30g
WATER 450g

  1. Grind 40g of medium-coarse coffee;
  2. Heats the water to 95ºC;
  3. Put the coffee in the French press and pour the water over the coffee;
  4. Mix vigorously with a spoon for 5 to 10 seconds;
  5. Leave to infuse for 5′;
  6. Place a damp paper filter under the press and press down very slowly, separating the drink from the lees;
  7. Serve when you have finished separating the drink.

PRO TIP: The paper filter will help to separate the lees and guarantee a clean cup, but it requires a slower and more careful press.
