IN 18G - OUT 40G
1. grind 18g of espresso coffee and place it in the pre-dried filter holder;
2. Dispense the ground coffee into the filter holder;
3. Use a presser foot to tamp the coffee down evenly;
4. Release 2" of water flow from the espresso machine unit, then place the filter holder in the unit and start extraction.
5. Use a scale to weigh the drink and arrive at the recommended amount;
6. Insert the filter holder and start extraction.
7. You should extract 40g of drink. The extraction time should be around 30".
PRO TIP: Was the extraction of 40g of drink too fast? You should grind the coffee finer.Did the extraction take longer than 35"? Grind the coarsest coffee until you reach the recipe.
