Recipe for V60

COFFEE 15g
WATER 250g

  1. Heats the water to 93ºC;
  2. Prepare the V60, filter and server. Wet the filter with water so that it adheres well to the surface;
  3. Moi 15g of coffee - medium/coarse grind;
  4. Discard the server water that has been used to wet the filter;
  5. Place the ground coffee in the filter and pour 50g of 10" water over the coffee. Make sure the water covers all the coffee;
  6. Wait until 2';
  7. Pour up to 250g of water over the coffee, without movement, with the flow pointed in the center, at a speed of 6 grams per second, up to 1'30″;
  8. At 2' stir the coffee, making two circular movements with the V60;
  9. This is useful when the coffee grounds have not accumulated any water.

PRO TIP: The coffee's first contact with water is very important. Focus on completely wetting all the coffee. If you need to, add more than 50g of water to make sure the coffee is completely wet.
